Briana Sherrer, Founder, President

Briana and her husband Matt
Briana, her husband Matt, and dogs Griffey, King, & Dylan.

Briana grew up in Minnesota, and discovered her passion for animals after fostering pets for a local rescue. After Briana and her husband Matt moved to Texas, she continued her love for rescuing shelter pets by getting involved with Dallas shelters.

Other than combating euthanasia numbers for shelter pets, Briana works as a Dental Hygienist. Her son Harrison, dogs Griffey, King, and Dylan, and cat Jiggs also keep her busy. Briana’s ultimate dream to save as many animals as possible and connect them to their forever homes – this is now a reality with Passport for Paws.

Brittany Kegley, Vice President

Brittany, her husband Eric, and dogs Harley, Grace, Keeva & Gertrude.
Brittany started fostering local shelter dogs from Mesquite and Garland, TX in 2016. Her very first foster dog was for Briana. What started as a small contribution to the local rescue scene has grown exponentially over the next two years. Since 2016, Brittany has personally cared for over 200 foster animals, both for local and out of state rescue groups. Over the past couple years, their efforts grew exponentially, so Brittany and Briana decided to work together and bring Passport for Paws to life.

She is a Certified Public Accountant for a Dallas-based CPA firm, but still manages to make time for rescue and personal life. When not working, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband Eric, four resident dogs (all rescues, of course) Harley, Grace, Keeva and Gertrude.
